On this page I have included advertisements. The galleries below include work I have done in the field. There are six advertisements below. Discover Western and Outdoor Project
For the Discover Western project I designed a Western Illinois University Admissions poster. I created two 11 by 17 inch posters using images and the required content provided. I created both posters in Photoshop. I made both posters look professional, unique, but also unified. On each poster I choose photos appealing to a specific audience. One poster appeals to those interested in the quality of the sports program, the other appeals to those interested in the quality of the facilities on campus. For the Simply Lemonade project I had to choose an existing product and create a brand new, totally original ad campaign for the product in Photoshop. Using my own content I had to create an ad in both portrait and landscape orientations. Then after finding three outdoor scenes I could add my advertisement to, I had to seamlessly integrate the ads I created into these scenes in Photoshop. In the advertisement I organized the elements to create a clean and well-organized look. The colors, fun font choice, and the illustration of the bottle of lemonade growing on the lemon tree successfully communicate the summertime theme and provide for a visually appealing layout. Then through incorporating this image into different scenes I was able to explore how it could be used in an outdoor setting.
